Our School Management System is dubbed “The Principal”.The Principal is an integrated school management system designed to track administrative transactions within schools. With The Principal, one can track as much information as possible and even declare an environment paperless.The Principal allows users to store almost all of their school’s information electronically, including information on students and employees. Most importantly, this information can be easily shared with authorized users, records can be easily searched, and reports can be easily generated.The Principal can be configured to meet most individual school’s needs. It is a multi-user system and can be used by more than one user at the same time. The Principal is a very robust system which ensures that vital student/staff information can be retrieved in seconds as well as generating dynamic reports for purposes of decision making.One of the distinctive features of The Principal is the fact that we are the ones who have built it from scratch. This means that any customization is possible and also easy for us do implement. We do this at no added cost.Another distinctive feature is the bulk sms module which has superior capabilities such as the ability to set triggers that makes sending out scheduled SMSs automatic.The Principal consists of 9 different modules as below:1. System Administration and ManagementThis is the administration of the system itself where the administrator creates users and assigns rights and permissions allowing users to perform tasks that are specific to them. This way the system remains highly secure.User rights administration allows an administrator to have full control on delegation of authority to the various employees so that their domain of operation may be restricted to their own department only.No employee is able to see/edit/modify the information that is not pertinent to his/her role in the organization. This acts as a great management tool and allows authorities to have direct control over the employees’ access to the software and to the school’s information resources in general. 2. Records and Profile Management:This module manages the registration and admission process of students and staff as well. This is fully integrated with the fee management module and therefore eliminating complications arising from human errors.The records of both students and staff are kept well and maintained and can be retrieved easily and fast.3. Fee Management:This module automates the management of the fees from invoicing to receipting. It is flexible enough to accommodate the varying nature of fee payments that most of the institutions come across.The module automatically calculates the pending fees, last fee payment details, deductions and concessions if any applicable to the selected student. In addition to the above, the user is also provided the option to allow payment of more than one term/fee-cycle fee. 4. Attendance Management:This section plays different roles for Students and Employees. Student’s attendance details act as a tool to identify irregularities in the academic interests of the students. The same can be used to assess the student and give individual attention to the causes of repetitive or long absences. This record is input by the teachers.Employee attendance is tracked through the daily logging in by employees into the system.5. Performance Management:This is the module that tracks the performance of students through the analysis of Continuous Assessment Tests and Exams. It reports on the same and report forms are generated. Analysis may also be done per student, class, subject, stream for a given period.You will be able to define the various exams held in the school and the marks and weightage to be carried into the final exams.Given all this information, all we need to enter are the details of marks obtained for each class as the exams are taken. The Principal will take care of the rest and generate the detailed final and intermediate result sheets.6. Timetable Generation & Updates System:This module eliminates the painful task of timetable preparation by automating the process. This is integrated with the Teacher records such that the system shall know the subjects taught by specific teachers. Using timetable parameters that are input one time, the timetable is generated automatically.This module also manages resources such as labs and other rooms to eliminate double assigning and also optimize utilization.7. Transport Management Transport is indispensible part of every school and The Principal provides appropriate facilities to manage the Transport infrastructure of any school.The module has facilities to report on fuel consumption, mileage covered and route management.8. Library ModuleManaging of any library must be done meticulously as the value of books constitutes a large part of the school resources.The library module ensures this management and that all books are tracked efficiently and effectively providing a tool that values books so any that are lost are easily invoiced.9. CommunicationThis section is handles the interaction with various stakeholders through short messaging. Broadcasts can be sent to a group or all guardians in one sweep.
