Most cameras come with rechargeable batteries, but it is advisable to always purchase a second set so you never run out in the field. With your digital you need to buy memory cards. At a minimum you will need I GB but I recommend a maximum of 2GB, as they can easily corrupt and you can lose all your hard work – multiple cards are the best option. Remember your’ camera body will need regular cleaning with proper camera cleaning equipment – not a dirty handkerchief. It will need to be serviced on occasions to clean the sensor.
