It is situated on the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro very close to the Tanzanian border. With the majestic backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro, spectacular displays of wildlife (Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Cheetah, and Buffalo) and various plains’ game, postcard perfect pictures are almost always guaranteed. This park has a record of over 250 species of birds.Day 1: Meeting point – Steers (Muindi Mbingu Street opposite the Jeevanjee Gardens) at 0700hrs. A short briefing on the safari will follow before we proceed to Amboseli National Park with a prompt departure at 0710hrs to arrive in time for lunch. We will pass through the Athi River plains the home of the Maasai tribe to Amboseli National Park, a place of stark contrast. The greatest attraction is the vast herds of Elephant within the park. The evening game drive will complete this full day and allow you to see and experience the wilds of Africa in its natural state.
